Wendy has been a veterinary nurse for more then twenty years. She joined the Roehampton team in 2010 and has subsequently gained a lot of experience in orthopaedic surgical nursing. She has become a great asset in many aspects of clinical management and staff training.
Wendy has also been greatly active in charity work; she worked for 3 years at an animal rehabilitation centre in Thailand, which she visits and volunteers for every year in her holidays. Wendy also has experience with wildlife: she volunteered in Borneo at an Orangutan rehabilitation centre and also worked with crocodiles and sun bears.
She has two rescue bearded dragons, Miss Piggy and Kermit. She has five cats, one of which she rescued and adopted at only 10 days old, called Pork Pie. Previously she owned two Staffordshire Terriers, which she sadly lost at age 16.
