Paul brings a wealth of 12 years experience as a veterinary surgeon and holds certificates in dermatology and Advanced Veterinary Practice; he joined our team in 2012.
Paul qualified in 2006 from the world-renowned Royal Veterinary College. Since then he has worked solely in small animal practice in Essex, Surrey and London and spent two years at the RSPCA Putney animal hospital.
Paul enjoys all aspects of veterinary medicine and surgery but has a particular interest in the management of chronic disease. He is keen to establish better management of these conditions in order to improve the quality of life for both pet and owner alike.
In 2017 Paul gained a post-graduate qualification in veterinary dermatology (certificate in veterinary dermatology). Approximately 25% of dogs and cats will develop a dermatological (skin) condition at some point in their life. Many of these will have chronic allergies and so will require life-long or intermittently life-long management. It is Paul’s aim to reach a clear diagnosis as quickly and efficiently as possible and then to provide an easy and cost effective treatment/management plan moving forward. Paul is keen to ensure that the client understands the treatment plan and is part of the decision making process as this will result in a better outcome for their pet.
Paul’s spare time is spent enjoying all that London has to offer and spending time with friends and family.
